2026
Britt, MN
Built by HNH
This coven-inspired bathhouse repurposed a dilapidated shed and garage– rebuilt and bewitched.
Located north of Virginia, MN in a wooded compound of outbuildings that overlook an oxbow wetland, this small project was a full renovation.
The siding is thermally modified, milled, and finished in Duluth, MN. The trim in white reinterprets a Ricardo Bofil aesthetic that pairs well with the scalloped stainless steel awning (custom designed by keep and fabricated in Minneapolis) along with the white orb sconces.
Inside, it is pink zellige on pink coven wallpaper, and color-matched pink ceilings. This saccharine cult of pink is only broken up by the sauna and soaking tub which are more subdued, raw cedar and charcoal cedar.
