Phil Docken earned his BA in Studio Arts at St Olaf College and spent 5 years at Pond Farm studying with Bauhaus trained ceramics master Marguerite Wildenhain. Docken’s work extends through pottery, ceramic sculpture, bronze casting, painting, photography, video, and film.

Phil and Koto met in 2015, while working in ceramics at Minneapolis Community & Technical College.
